Ivanka Marie Trump is the child of Donald Trump and his ex Czech wife Ivana Marie. Born on October 30, 1981 in Mannhattan, New York, Ivanka Trump immediately became a part of the Trump legacy.
But here’s the thing - there’s a lot you don’t yet know about Ivanka. Some say she is, in fact, the true power behind Donald Trump and their family friend was quoted saying that “I think her father really listens to her and when I say listens to her I mean I think her father respects her a great deal, and not just because she’s his daughter.
Number 1: Ivanka Trump sells baby shoes!
Out of many businesses Ivanka owns, one of them is also owning and selling a baby shoe collection! That’s right. Outside of her father’s spotlight, Ivanka has turned her life into a quite successful business career.
Pretty busy for someone who probably doesn’t have to work for a day in her life ever again.
Michael Ashner, the chairman and CEO of Winthrop Realty Trust has full faith in Ivanka’s business, stating that “she’s one of the most capable businesspeople I’ve ever dealt with.
Number 2: She was a model - but was not a huge fan of it.
Ivanka stated that fashion models are "the meanest, cattiest, bitchiest girls on the planet.” In her book The Trump Card, she wrote a bold statement that models are entitled, unsupervised, undereducated, pampered teenagers whose every success came as the direct result of someone else’s disappointment”.
Number 3: She hates the media.
Just like many celebrities and their children, Ivanka has been a victim of several online rumors and far too many rude interviews. As the daughter of Donald Trump, she had a lot on her plate, even as an innocent child.
Number 4: She doesn’t like to express her political views
Even though she is the president’s daughter, Ivanka has kept her political views hidden from the public and has made it clear that she’s a daughter first. Although newspapers claim that she was running to be a Vice-Presidential candidate, she refuses to see herself as a surrogate and claims that she is simply just a daughter in this whole political charade.
Number 5: Ivanka Trump is married and has three children
She seems to be living a true fairytale - happily married, three children, owning a business, her father is the president… we bet birds braid her hair every morning.
Ivanka Trump is married to a real estate developer Jared Kushner, and together, they have 3 children.
Number 6: Her family is Jewish!
Ivanka Trump converted to Judaism in 2009, stating that “It’s been such a great life decision for me. I am very modern, but I’m also a very traditional person, and I think that’s an interesting juxtaposition in how I was raised as well. I really find that with Judaism, it creates an amazing blueprint for family connectivity.”
Number 7: Her husband is a big deal
Since Donald Trump became the president of the United States, Ivanka Trump’s husband, Jared Kushner, is a big deal and an important part of Trump’s campaign. He has been reported to be behind the firing of New Jersey governor Chris Christie, and is making his way to the top through loyalty.
Number 8: Friendship with Chelsea Clinton
Let’s go back to Ivanka Trump. We’ve mentioned before that the Trump and Clinton friendship goes back for yearrs. Not only was Donald Trump friends with Bill and Hillary Clinton - his daughter Ivanka was and still is best friends with Chelsea Clinton.
