    Preparations for Atlético match begins

    FC Barcelona are back to work. Well, the five available first team players are and they trained on pitch number three at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper. Aleix Vidal, Denis Suárez, Gerard Deulofeu, Sergi Roberto and Paco Alcácer took part in the first workout of the week as they begin to prepare for the match against Atlético Madrid at the new stadium the Wanda Metropolitano at 8.45pm CET on Saturday.

    The match pits the leaders against the team in fourth with Barça on 21 points from a possible 21 and Simeone’s team on 15. Two of the best teams in the league go head to head in one of the toughest matches of the season. It will be a real test as Barça look to continue their nine-match winning streak in La Liga and the Champions League.
