The Cqstart 2 Series, built for engines between 7 and 10 liters, operates on a straightforward but effective principle: hand cranking compresses an internal spring, storing mechanical energy within the unit. When released, that stored energy discharges rapidly, generating enough torque to turn the engine over and start it — all without electricity, batteries, or compressed air. The unit provides up to 126 Nm of max pinion torque and 100 Nm of max winding torque, requiring 2+11 turns to fully wind before use. This simple, complete structure means the starter functions as an independent hand-cranking system with no reliance on external energy sources, making it inherently safe for direct human operation.
