Remained loyal to the 2000s-era version in Old School RuneScape

Pfieffer and his fellow colleagues have Pfieffer and his colleagues tried  Melvor Idle by themselves and enjoyed it -- enough to reach for Malcolm in hopes of discussing the idea of working together the beginning of 2021.

"From only our first interactions we learned that Brendan shares Jagex's philosophy of game that is based on community, and has done a fantastic job in fostering a positive and vibrant communities around Melvor Idle. It's rare to come across an ideal match in the hunt at publishing possibilities, however Brendan along with Melvor Idle are exactly that, so we decided to give him our support and the game wholeheartedly.

He adds: "We like to say that the case is that if RuneScape can be described as the MMO that can be played while watching television, Melvor is the idle game that can be enjoyed during RuneScape. Melvor Idle takes RuneScape's core gameplay mechanics and repackages it into bite-sized pieces that can be enjoyed when time is tight and so RuneScape players will feel at the right place playing Melvor.Few games have enjoyed the long-lasting popularity of RuneScape. Despite the most recent version, RuneScape 3, having the fancy graphics of an up-to-date MMO many gamers. Additionally, Jagex has maintained its servers and continues to release news and changes, even though it being (at at the very least) considerably less sophisticated than the previous MMO from the previous series.

This morning, Jagex continues with its long-term plans for Old School RuneScape. It's been 11 years since the game's launch the God Wars Dungeon storyline is finally at an end, with the final boss added in an expansion this week.

The God Wars Dungeon isn't going to end anytime soon, but it's heading towards its conclusion with the introduction to the ultimate boss, Nex The General. Since she's the final antagonist of a storyline more than an entire decade in the making getting her out of the way won't be an easy task in any way. Teams of players can reach up to 80 at a time therefore you'll probably not want to go in alone.

Nex seems to be an immensely popular addition to the game. Any RuneScape update must get the approval of 75 percent of players before going live, and the General was approved with an overwhelming 90 percent of players voting for her into.

Anyone who is a member at any level can take on the boss, however Jagex would recommend these levels of play: 70 Ranged, 70 Strength and 70 Agility. Hitpoints. Additionally, you'll need to be able to complete all of the Desert Treasure quest, so you can access The Frozen Door. This door is used as a way to enter Nex's home that allows you to play and kill the monster yourself.

Naturally, as you'd expect from  an excellent boss fight, there's amazing loot available. Jagex hasn't revealed more detail on the potential rewards, but it has revealed that among the items that are up for grabs are the Ancient Godsword, Zaryte crossbow, and the Torva armour set.
