If there's something which is central to World of Warcraft, it's the concept of Horde and. Alliance. The rivalry between the two most powerful factions is a   crucial part of WoW experience. This is applicable to the just launched Burning Crusade TBC as well, especially when it comes to player vs. Player content. Due to the imbalances between the two factions as well as the imbalances between the two factions, it's clear that the Burning Crusade TBC experience isn't nearly up to expectations.

The problem arises because there's far the more Horde player than Alliance ones, and that's causing some issues for players who are playing Burning Crusade TBC. For the Horde this means huge Battleground wait times and an inability to acquire PvP gear from Honor points. For the Alliance the result is an honor-deficient Horde wandering around the world attacking every enemy player at a glance, making it harder for Warcraft's Alliance gamers to finish quests or gain resources.

It's a bad mix caused by a number of things. While there aren't currently any officially announced solutions being developed, there is one primary approach Blizzard might be able to address the conflict among the two World of Warcraft factions and give players a more satisfying experience while staying true to the spirit of the original Burning Crusade expansion. The following is the root of the problem of faction imbalance, and what Blizzard could possibly do in order to fix it.

In the majority of World of Warcraft servers, particularly Burning Crusade TBC's PvP servers, Horde will be the dominant player in terms  numbers. This was true in WoW TBC but it's particularly true with Burning Crusade TBC. Horde has long had been regarded as the "PvP faction" due to many players who believe that the characteristics of the Horde is vastly superior to the Alliance.
