Sylvanas Windrunner once more a key character In World of warcraft TBC. Sylvanas has had a tangled relationship with death over the years. She was killed by Arthas Menethil during Warcraft 3. resurrected by his reincarnation as The Lich King. Sylvanas then was killed again (presumably through suicide) in the aftermath during World of Warcraft: Cataclysm. She resurfaced (again) within a short time but then seemed to avoid returning to the afterlife. But she's back the realms of death in World of warcraft TBC, and it's revealed that there's a big reason.

There has been speculation about Sylvanas's true motives for a while now in a variety of theories, ranging between time travel and affection she feels for Nathanos Blightcaller. However, it appears Sylvanas has a legitimate reason to be in World of Warcraft's World of warcraft TBC, and it's because she's really been working with the Jailer for quite a long period of. The Jailer used to be a ruler of the afterlife in WoW but he was stripped of the title and was later banished. Together the Jailor and Sylvanas wish to topple the Arbiter completely , and to change the way that the realms of the afterlife operate.

In a cutscene with Anduin earlier in World of warcraft TBC's endgame, Sylvanas reveals that she does not like the way that the Arbiter determines who is worthy and then sends them off to different areas of the afterlife. Families are divided and memories go missing - all due to the way an Arbiter controls on the World of warcraft TBC. There is no clear reason as to why Sylvanas decides to change this . Perhaps it's something to   do with her complicated past with death or perhaps even her previous relationship as a member of Arthas Menethil. Whatever it is it's a sign that players have many questions to unravel about Sylvanas and the Jailer who is the main antagonist in the expansion.
