On August 24, Krafton issued a press release announcing that it had obtained a license from Dark And Darker to develop a mobile game primarily based on Dark and Darker. “We’ve been eyeing Dark and Darker for its capabilities and great creativity and really good interest,” said Rafael Lim, Krafton’s senior publishing executive. According to Lim, the group was very curious about Dark and Dark's setting and unique and modern fusion of genres. Krafton believes Ironmace has found something special, and Lim said the author is excited to bring Dark and Darker to a new target audience of mobile gaming enthusiasts.
Sadly, Crafton's press release is fairly sparse on information, and no longer indicates when the unit model will pop up, or what players have to count on when it pops up. Essentially, the press release uses the word "version" when discussing Dark and Darker's mobile release. If a large amount of analysis is performed on specific terms, this may indicate that the cell model may be a separate game rather than a directly transplanted game.
Potential similarities could be PUBG: PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds and PUBG Mobile. While the two games are broadly comparable, there are considerable differences between them. PUBG Mobile features simplified controls, a smaller, less designated map, and less clear portraits. The mobile game also features car pick-up and drop-off functionality, a redesigned interface and additional audio-visual cues. These modifications are necessary to make PUBG art on Android and iOS, but do make for an incredible trade-off in the fun of Dark and Darker. Additionally, while laptop and console models have their share of crossovers and special occasions, there's a lot more to the PUBG unit.
